Not only is a ticket no longer required, customers also do not need to wait to enter the parking lot. The parking system is integrated with ANPR and customers are charged automatically, based on their actual timed length of stay.

How does Barrierless Parking work?

Barrierless Parking relies on effective license plate recognition. On arrival at the parking facility, the license plate of the vehicle is read and registered by the automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) camera. The parker can enter the parking facility in one go without the need for a barrier or speedgate to be opened.

When the parker wants to leave the facility, there are multiple options to pay the parking fee. These options are: contactless payment at the exit or at a pay station by entering the number plate, automatic payment via parking applications that support a barrierless parking experience, or pay online within a certain time limit with WPS Pay.
